NEWTONBROOK'S 2010 EUROPEAN CAROUSEL TRIP TO
Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, France & U.K

Ms. Hason's March 2010's European trip to Italy and Greece has been changed.  Students indicated that they much rather go to Northern countries and therefore we have registered for the following trip:  European Carousel.  This is a 15 day trip to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, France and U.K.  The price is incredibly low and we are accepting any student that is interested in joining this amazing trip!  Students can either go online at www.eftours.ca click 'students', and then type in Ms Hason's tour number: 691172 and my Group Leader number (GL):  1194193.  They are always welcome to come and speak to Ms. Hason in Room 218 (the art studio).

For information on NSS's March 2010 Trip to Spain, France and Italy, see the notice below, posted Jan. 29th.

NEWTONBROOK'S BIGGEST EUROPE TRIP EVER!
NSS's March 2010 Trip to Spain, France and Italy

In March, 2010, Mr. Fogel will be leading students from Newtonbrook to Europe for the 9th consecutive year. Next year will be the longest trip yet: 12 days to SPAIN, FRANCE, AND ITALY! On one trip, students will travel to Madrid, Barcelona, the Provence region of France, the French Riviera, Pisa, Florence, Assissi, and Rome! The number of attractions included in this trip is innumerable. It truly promises to be very exciting and culturally enriching for everyone.

Don't delay in signing up for this memorable experience: all students who register and make the required down payment by February 28 receive $50 off the total price. This savings can be used for an extra outing on the trip: in the past, this has included ascending the Eiffel Tower at night, taking a cruise on the River Seine, seeing a play in London, and watching a classical concert performed by the Mozart String Quartet in Vienna!

Registration is very simple, and the final payment does not have to be paid until next January, 2010.

All interested students should see Mr. Fogel in the English office, room 213, for information and the application. You may also call 416 395 3280, ext 20090.

SPAIN, FRANCE, AND ITALY in 2010!

DID YOU KNOW NEWTONBROOK COLLECTS:

  • used ink cartridges? Just drop them off in the appropriate box in the library. The school library receives a small monetary reward for each box filled.

  • used household batteries? Again, just drop them off in the appropriate box in the library.

  • pop can tabs? Take them to the NAC room 120. These tabs will help benefit someone who needs a wheelchair.
